YOUNG ATHLETE'S SUMMER CAMP 2013

We strive for excellence across ten fitness domains: cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination, and accuracy.

We use a wide variety of gymnastic, metabolic conditioning and functional weight lifting movements, in an endless number of combinations, to provide workouts that develop functional strength and a type of conditioning that is beneficial across all activities. Our exercises are organic, core to extremity movements that allow our participants to move large loads, long distances quickly. The CrossFit method allows everyone to peak physically, whether you are an elite athlete or a fitness newcomer; We welcome everyone to our classes!

Classes typically include a warm-up, stretching, skill development drills, a strength workout, and a high-intensity workout called the "Workout of the Day" or "WOD".  We often use scoring and ranking systems as a motivational tool that transforms workouts into sports allowing participants to track their progress and race the clock.
